My journey in cybersecurity has been built upon a foundation of rigorous education, including a specialized diploma from Lighthouse Labs, and industry-recognized certifications like ISC2 and CompTIA Security+. This theoretical knowledge has been practically applied through an internship with Rippen, where I designed a cybersecurity framework for the ABC Academy of Music's online booking system. This hands-on experience, coupled with continuous engagement in projects, labs, and ongoing coursework, ensures a dynamic and evolving skillset, bridging the gap between academic learning and impactful real-world application.

Project-XY: Corporate Network Homelab

My Project-XY cybersecurity homelab project leverages VirtualBox to virtualize a small-scale enterprise network, enabling hands-on cybersecurity learning. The infrastructure includes a Windows Server 2025 Domain Controller for directory services, an Ubuntu Server 22.04 Email Server, and Ubuntu 22.04 Desktop machines designated as Security Servers and a Security Playground. Additionally, it features Windows 11 and Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 workstations to simulate user environments, and a Kali Linux 2024.2 attacker machine for offensive security exercises. This environment facilitates practical experience with security tools like Wazuh, Postfix, Evil-WinRM, Hydra, and Security Onion, supporting activities such as network administration, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and cyber attack simulation and defense.

"Hinna," a comprehensive cybersecurity Rippen project, was developed and implemented for the ABC Academy of Music to address the growing need for robust digital protection within a specialized educational setting. Recognizing the academy's unique digital footprint, encompassing sensitive musical scores, student records, and online learning platforms, "Hinna" delivers tailored training modules covering essential cybersecurity principles, including data privacy, phishing prevention, and secure online communication. Beyond training, the project integrates practical tools for risk assessment and incident response, empowering the academy to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats. By fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness through interactive simulations and real-world scenarios, "Hinna" ensures the ABC Academy of Music maintains a secure and trusted environment, safeguarding its valuable digital assets and protecting the privacy of its students and staff.
